Every step tells a story, and this year, our team was proud to add a new chapter to ours. On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the streets of Addis Ababa were transformed into a sea of green, yellow, and red as we joined thousands of fellow citizens for the historic 25th Edition of the Great Ethiopian Run International 10km.
For Swiss Diagnostics Ethiopia, participating in “Africa’s Biggest Street Race” was more than just a fitness challenge—it was a celebration of community, endurance, and the vibrant spirit of our nation.
Let’s Keep Moving Forward Whether we are in the lab analyzing complex data or on the streets of Addis running for health, our focus remains the same: excellence in everything we do. Congratulations to all the participants and the organizers for another successful event. We are already looking forward to next year's starting line!
More Than Just a Race
As an organization dedicated to healthcare and diagnostic excellence, we understand that health is a journey, not a destination. Running the 10km route alongside professional athletes and thousands of enthusiasts reminded us of the values that drive our laboratory every day:
- Persistence: Much like a long-distance race, providing reliable medical services requires stamina and a commitment to crossing the finish line with accuracy.
- Unity: Seeing the diversity of the crowd underscored our mission to provide quality healthcare accessible to all Ethiopians.
- Wellness in Action: We don’t just process health data; we believe in living Promoting an active lifestyle is a core part of our vision for a healthier society.
A Legacy of 25 Years
The Great Ethiopian Run has been a symbol of national pride for a quarter-century. Participating in this landmark 25th anniversary was a meaningful experience for our staff, allowing us to build team spirit outside the clinical environment and engage with the community we serve in a joyful, energetic setting.
“Every kilometer covered was a testament to the strength of our community. At Swiss Diagnostics, we are proud to run for a future where every Ethiopian has the health and vitality to chase their dreams.”
