Precision in Service: Swiss Diagnostics Ethiopia Joins the “Volunteering for a Healthy Society” Campaign

At Swiss Diagnostics Ethiopia (SDE), we believe that high-standard healthcare is most powerful when it is accessible to those who need it most. We are honored to announce our participation in the “Volunteering for a Healthy Society” campaign, a transformative national initiative led by the Ministry of Health and Saint Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College.

Starting from Hamle 21 (July 28) and continuing for seven consecutive days, our team will be on the ground providing elite diagnostic support to ensure this campaign delivers the highest level of clinical accuracy.

"Volunteering is the ultimate expression of a healthy society. At Swiss Diagnostics, we are proud to provide the clarity of advanced diagnostics to ensure that every patient in this campaign receives the care they deserve."

Our Contribution: Advanced Diagnostics for All

During this week-long initiative, SDE is deploying its “Swiss-standard” expertise to provide free, high-tech diagnostic services. As a laboratory committed to innovation and patient safety, our role is to provide the critical data that doctors need to make life-saving decisions.

Key services we are offering include:

  • Advanced Liquid-Based Cytology (LBC) Pap Smear: Providing the most precise screening available for cervical cancer and infections like HPV.
  • Rapid & Reliable Testing: Utilizing our automated platforms to ensure that patients receiving free consultations get their results with world-class speed and accuracy.
  • Expert Clinical Consultation: Our specialists will be available to discuss diagnostic findings, helping patients navigate their path to wellness.
A Legacy of Giving Back

For the past three years, SDE has operated with a dual mission: to be a Model Reference Laboratory and a responsible corporate citizen. Whether we are participating in the Great Ethiopian Run or the Green Legacy tree-planting initiative, we believe that “every step tells a story.”

This campaign at Saint Paul’s Hospital is the next chapter in our story—one where we translate our technical capacity into a “meaningful exchange” with our community. By volunteering our resources, we are helping to reduce the burden on our healthcare system and promoting a culture of proactive wellness across Ethiopia.
